Based on a 5-nanometer (nm)-based controller and eighth-generation V-NAND (V8) technology developed and manufactured by Samsung, the PM9E1 is the optimal storage solution for today’s on-device AI computers with its powerful performance and advanced power efficiency features. PM9E1 is an SSD solution for PC/client OEM systems that supports PCIe 5.0 and is based on an eight-channel controller. Its sequential read speed is twice as fast as the previous model, and it also features improved power efficiency.
The eight-channel controller can move 14.5GB of AI data to DRAM in less than a second, offloading data transfer tasks from the CPU to increase efficiency and performance.
